Chandler joined Lewis Kappes as a Summer Associate in 2020 and continues to work as a law clerk during the academic year. Upon completion of his legal studies and passage of the Indiana Bar Exam, Chandler will continue his work at Lewis Kappes as an Associate Attorney.
Prior to joining Lewis Kappes and before entering law school, Chandler interned with a City Attorney in Anderson, Indiana. While attending law school, he gained extensive litigation experience by clerking for a general practice law firm in Hancock County, Indiana. During this time, Chandler also completed a judicial externship with Chief Justice Loretta H. Rush of the Indiana Supreme Court.
As a law student, Chandler served as a legal writing tutor, joined the Indiana Law Review as a Student Note Candidate and eventually a Notes Development Editor, accepted admission into Phi Delta Phi, served as a Student Ambassador, and sat on the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Professionalism Committee. Chandler will receive his J.D. in May 2021.
Chandler earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science-Economics from Anderson University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. During his undergraduate studies, Chandler served as a student member with the Center for Public Service and gained extensive speaking experience on the University’s debate team.
