Gabrielle Deardorff

Gabrielle joined Lewis Kappes as a Legal Assistant in August 2016 and has continued to work full-time while attending law school at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in the evenings. After several years immersed in the firm’s Lending & Finance division, Gabrielle was promoted to full-time law clerk where she currently assists attorneys to close commercial financing transactions throughout the country.

Gabrielle’s extensive knowledge base covers a wide range of commercial loan types with a focus on government guaranteed lending transactions. She has assisted with hundreds of closing transactions and possesses a detailed understanding of the closing process in virtually every state.

As a law student, Gabrielle served as Treasurer of Phi Delta Phi – Willkie Inn for two academic years, was a Dean’s Tutorial Society fellow for Legal Communication and Analysis, and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Legal Communication and Analysis and Indiana Constitutional Law.

Gabrielle will receive her J.D. in May 2022.
