Edan Gomez

Edan joined Lewis Kappes as a Legal Assistant in April 2021 and works full-time while attending law school at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in the evenings. After being immersed in the firm’s immigration practice area, Edan was promoted to full-time law clerk where he currently assists attorneys in preparing clients' applications for immigration relief.

Edan’s immigration knowledge covers removal defense, family-based petitions, and immigrant visas. He has assisted with preparing legal briefs for immigration court and for the board of immigration appeals.

Prior to joining Lewis Kappes, Edan worked at other law firms as well as completed an internship at the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic.

Edan will receive his J.D. in December 2022.

Edan is fluent in Spanish.
