Thomas R. Jones

Thomas joined Lewis Kappes as a Law Clerk in Spring 2021. Upon completion of law school and the bar examination, Thomas will continue at Lewis Kappes as an Associate Attorney.

Before joining Lewis Kappes, Thomas gained invaluable litigation experience working part-time at a law firm while also attending law school. He also worked as an extern in the Major Felony division of the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.

As a law student, Thomas was named to the Order of the Barristers and was selected as an Associate Justice for Competition Management for the Honorable Robert H. Staton Intramural Moot Court Competition. In addition, he was selected to represent his law school in the Indiana State Bar Association’s Moot Court Competition.

Prior to law school, Thomas served for six years as an Infantryman and UAV Operator in the Michigan National Guard. He graduated from the United States Army Infantry School in 2012 and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spring Arbor University in 2016. Thomas will receive his J.D. in May 2021.
