Taylor Webster

Taylor Webster joined Lewis Kappes as a Law Clerk in June of 2021. Upon completion of law school and the bar examination, Taylor will continue at Lewis Kappes as an Associate Attorney.

Before joining Lewis Kappes, Taylor gained extensive experience in public interest work. Taylor served as a law clerk for a victim advocacy nonprofit organization in Indianapolis, the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, the Coalition for Court Access, and most recently served in IU McKinney’s Health and Human Rights Clinic where she represented Indianapolis residents facing housing crises. Taylor gained invaluable experience representing tenants as a certified legal intern where she litigated cases in small claims court, drafted motions and settlement agreements, and negotiated with landlords and their attorneys.

As a law student, Taylor has been involved in the Black Law Student Association, serving as the Mentoring Chair for the 2020-2021 school year. Taylor also serves as the Vice President of IU McKinney’s Student Bar Association and the Secretary for IUPUI’s Graduate and Professional Student Government. In 2022, she was named as a recipient of the Champions of Diversity Award.
