Robert Rund has extensive school, municipal and immigration law experience. Bob has served since 1993 as the editor of the Indiana School Laws and Rules, a comprehensive compilation of the statutes and regulations governing public schools in Indiana published annually by West Publishing Company. Bob represents public school corporations throughout Indiana.
Prior to entering private practice, Bob served for seven years as Director of Legal Services for the Indiana School Boards Association. He has authored numerous articles on education and immigration law for the Indiana School Boards Association, the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Foundation, and other business, legal and educational organizations.
Bob’s education law practice includes representation of school corporations as general counsel, and on special matters, including, but not limited to, employment law, student discipline, commercial and construction contracts, school construction finance, public bidding, public meeting and access to records, issues, and policy development.
His municipal law experience includes ongoing service as a city redevelopment commission attorney, and representation of municipalities in real estate matters, local counsel on municipal bond issues, intergovernmental disputes, contract review and development, and commercial litigation.
Bob is a former member of the National Board of Governors of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is a past President of the Indiana Chapter of the American Immigration.
He advises school employers on U.S. Immigration law compliance and work authorization requirements for foreign nationals.
Bob has an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell and has been honored as a “Best Lawyer in America”.
