Edan Gomez’s practice focuses on immigration. His immigration knowledge covers removal defense, family-based petitions, and immigrant visas. Edan assists with preparing legal briefs for immigration court and for the board of immigration appeals.
Edan joined Lewis Kappes as a Legal Assistant in April 2021 and worked full-time while attending law school at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in the evenings. After being immersed in the firm’s immigration practice area, Edan was promoted to full-time law clerk where he assisted attorneys in preparing clients' applications for immigration relief.
Prior to joining Lewis Kappes, Edan worked at other law firms as well as completed an internship at the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic.
Edan received his J.D. in December 2022.
