Each year since 1989, the IUPUI campus has come together for the Spirit of Philanthropy Luncheon and Awards Ceremony. This event honors the individuals, corporations, and foundations that have contributed to the IUPUI program through gifts and voluntary services. At yesterday’s luncheon, Steve Tuchman and Reed Bobrick were recognized for their outstanding commitment and generosity to the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
"The IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law is pleased to recognize Steven L. Tuchman and Reed E. Bobrick for their outstanding commitment and generosity to the school. They endowed the Tuchman Bobrick Scholarship that is awarded to a self-identified gay male student at McKinney law.
Steve received a B.A. in history in 1968 from IU Bloomington and a law degree from McKinney Law in 1971, where he is a member of the Board of Visitors. He has an exemplary legal career, earning prominence in his immigration practice. Steve's husband, Reed, is a graduate of Clark University and a founding partner and the principal designer for Misch Bobrick Design.
Steve and Reed stay in close touch with the McKinney Law students who receive their scholarship, acting as mentors to guide them through law school and eventually helping to launch and sustain their legal careers."
