Chandler Clark’s practice focuses on commercial lending and finance, corporate transactions, and real estate. As a closing attorney, Chandler counsels various bank and non-bank lenders through closing government guaranteed and conventional financing facilities in all 50 states. His services capture the critical stages of every financing arrangement: compliance, lien perfection, third-party negotiations, real estate title review, due diligence review and negotiations, and closing document preparation.
Leveraging his background in commercial transactions, Chandler also assists closely-held businesses with general corporate services ranging from entity formation, general commercial contract review and preparation, real estate matters, and acquisitions.
Chandler first joined Lewis Kappes as a Summer Associate in 2020 with a work ethic shaped by experiences in the private and public sectors.
Prior to joining Lewis Kappes, Chandler interned with a City Attorney in Anderson, Indiana. While attending law school, he gained extensive litigation experience by clerking for a general practice law firm in Hancock County, Indiana. During this time, Chandler also completed a judicial externship with Chief Justice Loretta H. Rush of the Indiana Supreme Court.
Chandler graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. As a law student, Chandler served as a legal writing tutor, joined the Indiana Law Review as a Student Note Candidate and eventually a Notes Development Editor, accepted admission into Phi Delta Phi, served as a Student Ambassador, and sat on the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Professionalism Committee.
Chandler earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science-Economics from Anderson University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. During his undergraduate studies, Chandler served as a student member with the Center for Public Service and gained extensive speaking experience on the University’s debate team.
