Philip Lashutka
Of Counsel
Philip has served clients – from individuals to international corporations – while working in firms ranging in size from one office with two attorneys to more than 500 lawyers in offices spread across nine states. Philip’s diverse experience serves his clients: each has different priorities and distinct approaches to the same issues.
Philip focuses his practice on litigation, critical motion practice, and appellate advocacy—including complex commercial litigation, insurance defense, products liability, and governmental law. He is an experienced appellate practitioner in the Indiana Supreme Court with a demonstrable history of trenchant writing, penetrating analytical insight, and efficacious oral argument skills.
Additionally, Philip clerked for two years with Justice Geoffrey G. Slaughter on the Indiana Supreme Court. Through that clerkship, Philip obtained unparalleled access to and knowledge about the appellate process. That experience increased his knowledge across varied areas of substantive and procedural law.
