Professional Profile

Tabitha Balzer practices in the areas of energy and utilities, environmental law, and civil litigation. She currently serves on the Indiana State Bar Association Utility Law Section Council, and co-authored the Indiana Law Review’s Survey of Indiana Administrative Law published in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

An avid user of trails, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greenways Foundation.

Tabitha first joined Lewis Kappes as a summer associate in 2009. While in law school, she clerked with the Honorable G. Thomas Gray and the Honorable Jane Spencer Craney in Morgan County. She also participated in the Maurer School of Law Disability Law Clinic, providing pro bono legal services to clients seeking Social Security and Medicaid disability benefits.
